Specialty Fertilizers

This category includes the fertilizers and nutrients that are not listed with the E.B.Stone Organics line or the Master Nursery line. Theyinclude products like the HydraBlue (aluminum sulfate) that helps turn your hydrangeas blue, Soil Sulfur that helps lower your soils pH for your blueberries, and Gypsum that provides a good source of calcium for your tomatoes and other vegetables. Below is a list of several products that we normally stock that are useful in improving plant health.

E.B. Stone Agricultural Lime - Agricultural Lime is a natural source of calcium and magnesium. It is derived from naturally occurring limestone and supplies calcium and magnesium to the soil. It is useful for increasing the pH of lawns and garden soils as well as supplementing plant nutrition and soil nutrients. Available sizes: 5lb box in granulated form and 50lb bag in a powder(dust) form. Greenall Chelated Iron (2-0-0) - For use on any plant suffering from micronutrient deficiencies. Helps give plants deep, green foliage, correct yellow leaves and encourages growth. Quicker acting than pelleted iron supplements. Contains nitrogen, copper, iron, manganese and zinc. Available size: Quart. E.B. Stone Organics Compost Maker (4-4-2) - E. B. Stone Compost Maker is a blend of organic ingredients designed to supplement the needs of the home composter. In addition to providing the nitrogen necessary for proper composting, Compost Maker also helps to enrich the finished compost by supplying additional nutrients. It is ideal for use when making compost with large amounts of dry, brown materials high in carbon. Contains Blood Meal, Feather Meal, Bone Meal, Dried Chicken Manure, Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal and Potassium Sulfate. Available size: 4lb. box. Greenall F.S.T. (Iron and Sulfur supplement) - Contains 33% iron to help plants overcome yellow leaves. F.S.T. contains iron, sulfur, manganese and zinc, which are essential elements for plant growth. F.S.T. is recommended as a supplemental feeding to the normal fertilizer program to improve growth, fruiting, flowering and helps plants overcome yellow leaves. Especially helpful to citrus, gardenias and azaleas. Recommended to use in conjuction with Master Bloom on your fruit trees during the winter months. Contains 19% Sulfur, 33% Iron, 0.50% Manganese and 0.50% Zinc. Available sizes: 8lb and 30lb bags. E.B. Stone Organics Granular Gypsum - Granular Gypsum supplies calcium and sulfur to the soil. It is used to help overcome alkali soils and to loosen clay or adobe soils. Granulated for easy handling. Recommended for use in vegetable beds to improve quality of vegetables. Especially good in the prevention of blossom end rot on tomatoes which is often caused by a calcium deficiency. Available in 5lb box. Gypsum is also available in powder form in a 40lb. bag. E.B. Stone Green Sand - is derived from a naturally occurring mineral found in ancient oceanic deposits of shells and organic matter millions of years old. Green Sand is suggested for use throughout the garden on a variety of plants including perennials, annuals, vegetables and all trees and shrubs. It can be applied at any time of year. For the best results incorporate Green Sand into your garden soil at the same time that you add compost. Available size: 5lb box. Master Nursery Hydra Blue (Aluminum Sulfate) - Helps develop the deep blue color in Hydrangea flowers and acidifies the soil. Generally it is recommended to apply once in the fall and then again in late winter/early spring to improve flower color. Contains 51% Aluminum Sulfate. Available size: 5lb bag. Bonide Hydrated Lime - Hydrate Lime quickly raises the pH of the soil. In addition, it is a good source of calcium and is often used to eliminate unwanted odors. Available in 5lb. bags. GreenAll Iron Sulfate - A readily available source of iron. Used to acidify soils and help plants overcome yellow leaves. Can be used on lawns to help improve color and health. Contains 11% Sulfur and 19% Iron. Available size: 5lb. box. GreenAll Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salts) - Use Magnesium Sulfate to help produce bigger blooms, especially on roses. It also helps plants absorb phosphate fertilizer and increases the plants' natural resistance to diseases. It is recommended to use Magnesium Sulfate in late winter to early spring around your roses for best results. Available size: 5lb box. Master Nursery Root Master B-1 Plus Hormone Concentrate - Rootmaster is a root stimulant especially formulated to reduce and overcome transplant shock normally accompanied with both indoor and outdoor transplants. For use on cuttings, potted plants, trees, shrubs, flowers or houseplants. Because of the rooting hormone that it contains, the results are amazing. Contains 0.11% N.A.A. to encourage root formation and contains 0.17% vitamin B-1. Available size: Pint EB Stone Organics Soil Sulfur - E. B. Stone Soil Sulfur is used to adjust the pH level of garden and lawn soils. In addition, sulfur is also an essential protein ingredient, helps maintain the green color of leaves, and aids in the use of nitrogen fertilizer by the plant. It is recommended to use yearly around blueberries since they prefer an acidic soil. Contains Elemental Sulfur. Available size: 5lb. box. E.B. Stone Sul Po Mag - E. B. Stone Sul Po Mag is a naturally occurring crystalline material, known as langbenite. It is an excellent source of readily available sulfur, potassium and magnesium. Contains Sulfate of Potash Magnesia. It is available in a 5lb box and in the GreenAll label it is available in a 20lb bag.
